Reaching those on the digital periphery

It is best if you aim this question to members because I designed it alongside several other volunteers.

I have varying eye problems because of my disability. However, captions on screen reader does help.

Generally it is quite good because there are not a lot of animations and the font sizes are easy to read. However, the screen reader on the Accessibility tool kit wont read the landing page and have noticed not all the visuals have alt text?

Hi Simon, thank you for alerting us to the challenges of language. We can be assured we are working towards plain English, although aware that there are other issues relevant to Learning Disability that we need to consider. Please keep looking in because your comments are valuable to us.
